so, why do people date OR get a bf/gf ?
what's the meaning of getting a bf/gf ?
what's the purpose of getting a bf/gf ?

Well, I think that we get bf/gf so that we can know the person deeper.
But many people nowadays, get a bf/gf so that they can have fun. kiss, hug, etc..
If one get a partner, they should get to know the person more into details like get to know their family background, and also their REAL attitude/behaviour. Should not take it too seriously, but take it like as though you two are very very close friends. So, when after dating for a while, you two don't really get along well, or you found out that you and your partner won't last happily forever(married and after your married life), you would wanna break up. This would not make you that upset if you break up. Right?

So I think it's OK to date a few people before choosing which one to be with for the rest of your life. Not to say you're gonna be a playboy/playgirl, it's just that, this will help you to make a better decision. Like if you only date one, you won't get to see other boy's/girl's personalities. You date a few, you get to see different kinds of personalities, and you can choose. You won't want to marry that person and that after few years, you don't feel like going on with that person, and hence, divorce.

You should think of the future. Imagine you 2 getting married. Planning for the marriage. Have a baby. Taking care of the baby(The hardest part). Grow the baby up. You need money to feed them. And to pay for their education for about 18 years. Get a house. Live together. Look at each other everyday. Work. Work. Work. Will you be bored and tired of looking at your spouse everyday? Will you get fedup of it and eventually not bothered about them?

Think about it.
